Virtual Counselling
Does Virtual Counselling Work?
Yes it does! Online counselling has been used as an effective way to deliver mental health support for years. Although in-person sessions are preferred by some people and I do offer those for clients who prefer to meet in person. Research shows that virtual counselling is just as effective. Researchers looked at more than 60 studies and found that seeing a therapist virtually is just as effective as face-to-face sessions for most people. Another 40 studies showed online therapy for treating depression to be more effective than not receiving therapy in any form. It also saves you time and allows you to meet from the comfort and convenience of your own home.

Benefits of Virtual Counselling:

For many, being in the comfort of your own home can create a safer, more relaxed environment for discussing sensitive or personal topics.
Privacy
Virtual therapy can offer an added layer of discretion, allowing you to engage in therapy from a private space where you feel secure.
